Make a DIY Hummingbird Mister Birdbath

1. Select a Shallow Basin: Choose a shallow basin or tray, preferably about 2 inches deep, as hummingbirds prefer shallow water for bathing.

1. Drill Holes in Lid: Take a plastic lid and drill small holes in it. This will create the mist effect when water flows through the holes.

1. Attach Lid to Hose: Secure the lid with holes onto the end of a hose using waterproof tape or a hose adapter.

1. Position Over Basin: Place the hose with the misting lid over the center of the basin, ensuring it's stable and won't tip over.

1. Adjust Water Flow: Turn on the water to a gentle flow. Experiment with the water pressure to achieve the desired misting effect.

1. Add Perch or Rocks: Place a few small rocks or a perch in the basin to provide a landing spot for hummingbirds.

1. Monitor and Refill: Keep an eye on the water level and refill the basin as needed to ensure a constant water source for the birds.
