Master Your Pie Lattice Weave

Prepare your favorite pie filling and preheat the oven to the required temperature according to the pie recipe.

Roll out your pie dough into a large circle on a floured surface, ensuring it's slightly larger than your pie dish.

Using a sharp knife or pastry wheel, cut the dough into even strips, about 1/2 to 3/4 inch wide, depending on your preference.

Carefully arrange half of the strips over the filled pie, evenly spacing them apart.

Fold back every other strip halfway, then place a new strip perpendicular to the folded ones.

Unfold the strips over the new one, then fold back the alternate strips that weren't folded before.
